skincareBOOtique Silver Award

skincareBOOtique Silver Award

Our Mango and Lime Body and Heel Butter has won a silver medal in the Skin Care (leave on) category of the 2023 Free From Skincare Awards.

The Europe-wide Awards were founded to encourage and reward manufacturers of skincare products that are ‘free from’ many of the allergens, preservatives, additives and fragrances associated with skin sensitivities, allergies, and ethical, environmental and health concerns.

“We are so proud of this recognition of our Mango and Lime Body Butter. The award supports our belief in the benefits of moving toward more natural products”. Says Sam Farr the founder of skincareBOOtique. “Our body butter using organic Jojoba, and Lime Essential oil has been receiving so many positive comments from our fantastic customers, and now this!”

The announcements were made online on Tuesday 13th June, and followed a long judging process which included a rigorous month-long assessment by four experienced cosmetic testers, and concluded with round-table expert judging sessions, held in May.

' A proper solid butter that felt rich and sumptuous. After a long stressful day and evening bath this was just what my skin needed.' - Commented one of the award testers.

skincareBOOtique, based near Welshpool, was set up by Sam and her husband Martyn when the opportunity arose to realise her lifelong dream of creating and running a business. It was important to Sam that the products reflected her views that cosmetics should be synthetic free, palm oil free, plastic free and cruelty free. skincareBOOtique has previously won a Business Wales Green Growth Award and a Newtown Town Council Climate award.

“ We believe that we can all help the environment with positive changes and choices we make, and are looking to further extend our skincare range next year to include after sun lotion, and more”

A special offer of Mango and Lime Body and Heel Butter is available. Please see above for more details.
