Olive Oil Soap Wins Europe Wide Award

Olive Oil Soap Wins Europe Wide Award

An Olive Oil Soap produced by skincareBOOtique has won a Bronze Award in the Soap category  at the thirteenth annual Free From Skincare Awards.

The Europe-wide Awards were founded to encourage and reward manufacturers of skincare products that are ‘free from’ either artificial ingredients, or animal-based ingredients, or fragrances, or food allergens, and perhaps other ingredients associated with skin sensitivities, allergies, and ethical, environmental and health concerns.

“We are delighted this award recognises our Olive Oil soap which is about as simple and pure as a bar of soap can be. It follows from our belief that simple natural products are better for us and for the environment. Following on from last year’s Silver Award for our extremely popular Lime Body Butter we couldn’t be more proud.”

The announcements were made online on Wednesday 26th June, and followed a long judging process which included a rigorous month-long assessment by four experienced cosmetic testers, and concluded with round-table expert judging sessions, held in early June.

skincareBOOtique is a family run business, based in Guilsfield, Powys, which grew from a belief in more natural products being better for us and the environment. Owner Samantha Farr trained in cold process soap making after having spent many happy hours making soaps with her children when they were younger.

“This award winning Olive Oil Soap was one of the first that we developed. Since then we have expanded our range to move towards being a one stop shop for natural skincare. Further development of our skincare range, often following conversations with our customers, is planned.

skincareBOOtique natural handmade skincare products are available at various local markets, a range of shops, and various events throughout the year. A full list is available, as well as details of the extensive range of products at www.skincarebootique.co.uk
