Winner at the Powys Business Awards 2024
In 2024, skincareBOOtique won the Sole Trader Award at the Powys Business Awards.
The award recognised the growth of the business, Sam’s knowledge of the skincare market and the work that has gone into developing skincareBOOtique from a small handmade soap business into a growing natural skincare brand.
The judges praised Sam’s knowledge, self-development and determination to build the business around good quality, natural skincare at fair and competitive prices.
Winning the award was a proud moment for us and gave the business even more confidence and momentum as we continued to grow.
Free From Skincare Awards
The Free From Skincare Awards have recognised several skincareBOOtique products over the years and have become an important part of our awards story.
In 2023, our Mango & Lime Body and Heel Butter received a Silver Award in the Body Care (Leave On) category. The judging process included a month-long assessment by four experienced cosmetic testers followed by expert judging.
In 2024, our Olive Oil Soap received Bronze in the Soap category, while our Lip Balm was also selected as a finalist.
The following year, our Mint & Tea Tree Body Scrub reached the finalist stage in the 2025 awards.
We are especially proud of this recognition because the Free From Skincare Awards celebrate products that move away from many artificial ingredients, fragrances and additives, which closely reflects our own approach to creating natural handmade skincare.
Vegan Beauty Award Winner 2024
Our Mango & Orange Body Butter was recognised with a Vegan Beauty Award in 2024.
The judges praised the product for its nourishing feel, natural ingredients and uplifting fragrance, describing it as a product they genuinely looked forward to using.
It was another lovely piece of recognition for our handmade body butter range and for our approach to creating effective skincare using carefully selected ingredients.
Climate & Sustainability Award 2025
In 2025, skincareBOOtique received Silver, finishing second in the Climate & Sustainability category at the Celebration of Newtown Awards.
The awards, organised by Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn Town Council, recognise individuals, groups and organisations making a positive contribution to the local area.
This recognition was particularly meaningful because sustainability has always been part of the way we work, from avoiding palm oil and unnecessary plastics to choosing recyclable and compostable packaging wherever possible.
Green Goal Award 2022
In 2022, skincareBOOtique received a Green Goal Award for demonstrating sustainability.
The recognition reflected our ongoing commitment to making thoughtful choices around ingredients, packaging and production, and to reducing the environmental impact of the business wherever we can.
